About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Workforce Planning Consultant (Architect) to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Adaptive Planning solution and support our clients with your expertise in configuring and testing custom solutions.
You will play a key role in the full implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning for a diverse client portfolio. As a trusted advisor, you will lead or support the implementation of one or more financial functional streams across various projects.
Your responsibilities during the first 12 months
- Gain hands-on experience with the Workday implementation methodology throughout all project phases.
- Define and analyze your clients’ business needs and demonstrate fundamental Workday concepts using pre-built solutions.
- Translate requirements into configured solutions and conduct rigorous unit testing.
- Guide clients through multiple testing cycles and resolve issues under the supervision of the Senior Consultant.
- Lead final deployment activities, knowledge transfer, and post-production support.
During your first year, you will likely have participated in at least three large-scale implementation projects in your area of expertise.
In your second year, you will deepen your knowledge through continuing education and participation in multiple concurrent projects.
Your career path will include:
Months 1-3: Complete the Workday Adaptive Planning certification training.
- After certification, deepen your product knowledge by working on real-world projects under the supervision of a functional architect or senior consultant.
- Collaborate with other consulting teams, including integration consultants, to ensure smooth project execution across all application areas.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of combined experience implementing or supporting workforce planning or HRIS solutions
- 7+ years of consulting experience, either in-house or within a consulting/software firm
- Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning (required for the Principal Consultant position) or other workforce management tools (needed for the Senior Consultant position)
Other Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of HR concepts in areas such as human capital management, compensation, recruiting, benefits, and performance management
- Experience working with or implementing leading planning software such as Anaplan, OneStream, Hyperion, or similar solutions (desirable)
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to exceptional customer service
- Presentation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.n
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies through a variety of learning methods
- Availability to travel up to 20%
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
Primary Location: United States, Colorado, Denver
Base Salary Range: $140,400 – $210,500
Base Salary in Other US Countries: $133,300 – $236,800
